We all have projects we'd like to accomplish. Some projects happen quickly and others feel like they will never get done. I recently had one of the latter. My office at home is where the computer is. I used to spend a lot of time in that room, but a few years ago, the computer reached the end of its useful lifespan so I got a new laptop. The new computer lives on the kitchen table and I love being in the kitchen where it's bright. Now the office that is nothing more than a storeroom.  We recently decided to change the purpose of the room into a place to store musical instruments and equipment..sounds simple enough, right?  Every time I walked in there to start clearing stuff out, I would just shuffle things around and feel at a loss. There's a lot in there, including a big desk, and I just got overwhelmed thinking about all the steps. However, recently I changed my approach. Instead of focusing on all that I didn't know how to do or where to start, I decided to ask "What can I easily clear off the desk?" I decided to start with all the decorative items. Once I made that small amount of progress, it was like the dam had burst! I came up will all sorts of ideas of what to do next. So, the next time you're facing a project that feels difficult and/or daunting, ask yourself:
